Buckeye BBC - Monroe TAKEOVER PART 1: Brought to you by Chance, the eager learner

    We are on our way to Michigan! Joe, the DJ. Sean, the guy I trust to keep me alive if I happen to be bleeding out. Austin, the guy that knows every person in Columbus. And myself, eager to learn about everything this trip can offer. We set out early in the morning, stopped only twice for food and restroom breaks. Not knowing what Michigan has to hold or how people would be compared to Columbus, Ohio.       

    When we got to our hotel later that night the thing immediately we all seem to do systematically was finding how to squeeze our things into 1 room. Without knowing the people around me very well things could get awkward quickly. Luckily for me, we all got to know each other with minimal effort because I enjoy sharing unimportant information which is why I have a blog now. But we all took turns sharing information in the hot tub. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE HOT TUB STAYS IN THE HOT TUB! 

A week later we all left better people the end.

Buckeye BBC Travels: New Orleans

What: National Conference  

Where: New Orleans, LA

When: June 15 - 19th

Who:  BuckeyeBBC Mangement Team, Team Leads, and top performing Account Managers

Why: Conference for annual awards, learning breakout sessions, and a little relaxation and fun for top performers

Favorite Part: Mascarade Dinner! Also seeing different parts of New Orleans because we stayed near French Quarter and could walk everywhere, GREAT FOOD!

Fun Fact: Alligator tastes like chicken!

Who: Members of the BuckeyeBBC Sales and Marketing Team

Why: To gain early experience in training and networking allowing me to focus on my promotion to leadership while obtaining key traits for success from other leaders and managers.

Favorite Part: Seeing how another office operates, giving me ideas and advice for when I open my own office!

Fun Fact: Chicago sports fans are as enthusiastic, if not more than Cleveland and Columbus fans.

Buckeye BBC Travels: L.A.

Our Top Account Manager and Team Lead, Sean earned himself a trip to L.A. for some fun, learning, and everything in between!!

What: Top Gun Conference

Where: Agoura Hills, California

When: December 8 - 11

Who: The top account manager from each office in our organization


Why: Training for the top leader out of each office on how to move on to the next step with in the business and beyond. Also to award the top performer out of every office for their hard work and progression.

Favorite Part: Learning from the best in the business and the pioneers of what we do including everyone from Executive Senior Platinum Organizational Consultant to the CEO, CFO, and COO

Fun Fact: Santa Monica is the best place for hitting up swanky clubs and bars in all of California ranked by California Bartender Association and we can all attest to that.

Buckeye BBC Travels: Dallas

With our national conference coming up soon we thought we would reminisce about our conference in Dallas last summer!  Check out the details as told by BuckeyeBBC Team Lead, Austin!

What: National Conference 

Where: Dallas, Texas

When: July 22 to 25, 2016

Who: The management team and top leaders and performers from each of the top offices in the nation! 

Why: Awards are giving out to recognize the elite performers of the year and learn from the best and brightest in the industry! Also a long weekend out of the office as a treat for all the hard work!

Favorite Part: Listening to the amazing business owner's advice and envisioning myself on the stage giving speeches in just a few years! Also, going to the Texas Ranger's game after was great, my first MLB game.

Fun Fact: Dallas has delicious brunch buffets, a must have the next time I visit.

Buckeye BBC Travels: Boise and Gatlinburg

After an amazing year full of growth, expansion, and awards the Management Team at Buckeye BBC has taken some time for a little fun!  Our work hard, play hard is something we truly do live so even though we enjoy what we do we like to take some time to get away as well! 

Our first trip was to Boise, ID.  Account Manager, Brad also earned to go along on this trip for all of his hard work in his short time with Buckeye BBC.  Because we believe in no seniority and everything is earned based on effort not time, even though he has only been with us for less than six months he has proven himself as a top leader in the company and has moved up quickly.

While in Boise we visited some local favorites in the Meridian for great food, enjoyed the beautiful mountain views, and had a fun field day full of events and competition!  The weather was great for our trip and it was a nice getaway from our everyday life in Ohio!  We were sad to head home but excited to get back and continue to grow and apply what we learned from the managers from all across the country!

A few short weeks later the Management Team was at it again traveling to Gatlinburg, TN!  They stayed in a gorgeous log cabin in the Smokey Mountains and really had a chance to unplug and relax! While in Tennessee they visited Ober and rode the ski mountain coaster as well as had old fashion photos taken.  A trip to Ripley's Odditorium and a haunted house were also part of the agenda.  Our trip was during Oktoberfest so we enjoyed some great food and a moonshine tasting! Traveling is something we love to do and we are grateful to have the freedom to get to do some of the things we have always wanted to do!  We set big goals here at Buckeye BBC and when we hit those goals we reward ourselves!  We plan to continue to love our work hard, play hard lifestyle and travel the country and beyond!
